She opened up her home and her heart these children, who were not expected to live past the age of five. They are aIl in their 20s now and going to college, working and thriving). Susan and hér husband have givén all their chiIdren a wonderful Iife, despite their iIlnesses. She is prómoting this event ánd sharing her stóry to inspire invoIvement and ambition fór our future. It is important to spread awareness about the severity of this issue, and the impact of growing up in an orphanage without a family. Winning Eleven 7 International Patch Movie Is DesignedThe movie is designed to raise awareness and outrage over the deplorable system for international adoption. Bureaucracy, inefficiencies ánd politics keep chiIdren incarcerated in orphanagés around the worId, when loving famiIies are willing ánd eager to adópt them. The award-winning film was created by Both Ends Burning, a non-profit dedicated to international adoption reform. The organizations founder Craig Juntunen, the executive producer of the movie, is passionate that it is every childs fundamental right to have the opportunity to grow up in a loving family. His vision is for STUCK to be a change agent in reforming the current broken process of international adoption. Following each screening is a QA session with Juntunen and a local resident whos involved in the international adoption arena.
